How to freeze rows and columns in Excel

How: View ▸ Freeze, then choose “1 row” for the header, “1 column” for the first column, or “Up to current row / column” to freeze at the selected cell; choose “No rows / columns” to undo. Drop your sheet below (or use the sample) and the online spreadsheet opens with the top row and first column already frozen — scroll around.
