Dictate into an online document
The button below opens a document and starts dictation right away: your browser asks once for the microphone, then speak and the words appear at the cursor; stop with Tools ▸ Voice typing. It uses the browser’s built-in speech recognition (Chrome and Edge send the audio to the browser vendor’s service — not through our servers); Safari and Firefox support is incomplete and you will be told if it is unavailable. Great for meeting notes and first drafts; it cannot transcribe an existing audio file.

Is my voice uploaded?
Not to our servers. But the browser’s built-in recognition (Chrome, Edge) sends audio to the browser vendor’s service — Google or Microsoft — which is how the browser works.
Why is nothing happening?
Check that the microphone is allowed next to the address bar; Safari or Firefox may not support it — try Chrome or Edge.
Dialects or mixed languages?
It recognises your interface language; dialects and mixed speech are less accurate.
Can it transcribe a recording?
No — live dictation only. For audio files, use the TutuAgent audio-to-text tool.
How do I stop?
Click Tools ▸ Voice typing again, or press ⌘/Ctrl+Shift+S.
Do I need to sign in?
No.
