- Will the total stay right as I add items?
- Insert new rows between the sample rows and the SUM range grows with them. If you append below the last row instead, extend the total formula’s range, or the new items are left out.
- Can it flag low stock?
- Yes. Select the quantity column and add a rule under Format ▸ Conditional formatting, such as “less than 5 → red”. The template does not include that rule by default.
- Can I log stock in and out?
- This sheet holds current stock. Keep movements on a second sheet — date, SKU, in/out, quantity — and use SUMIF by SKU to roll them back into the quantity column here.
