Convert an amount to Chinese capital numerals
Type an amount (thousands separators and up to two decimals are fine) and copy the capital numerals onto an invoice, expense claim, contract or cheque. Follows the People’s Bank of China rules: one “零” for a run of zeros, “壹” kept before “拾”, “整” after whole yuan and after jiao with no fen, none when fen is present. Up to 999.9 billion. Switch between Simplified and Traditional.

常見問題
How are several zeros written?
A run of zeros becomes a single “零”: 1001 → 壹仟零壹元整, 10000010 → 壹仟万零壹拾元整.
Is 10 written 拾元 or 壹拾元?
壹拾元整 — dropping 壹 would let someone add digits in front.
When is 整 added?
After whole yuan or after jiao; not when fen is present.
How is 0.07 written?
柒分, without 零元.
Can I type commas?
Yes, thousands separators and spaces are ignored.
Traditional: 圓 or 元?
The Traditional version uses 元, common in Taiwan and Hong Kong; both are accepted.
