The TutuDocs AI assistant changes the document, spreadsheet or slides you are editing directly, instead of replying with text for you to copy. It works without an account and has a free daily allowance, and every round of changes can be undone in one click. It cannot yet read tables or text inside images, and it does not support several people editing at once.

Does it cost anything?
Without an account you get a free daily allowance. When it runs out, sign up or sign in with a Tutu account to keep going — your conversation and your file are kept.
Are my files uploaded?
When you use the AI, whatever you ask it to read is sent to the model for processing. When you don't use the AI and aren't signed in, your files stay in your browser.

AI assistant FAQ

Do I need to sign in to use the AI assistant?

No. Open any editor and click “AI assistant” at the top right. There is a free daily allowance; when it runs out, sign in with a Tutu account to continue.

How is it different from a chatbot like ChatGPT?

It edits the file you have open: it puts numbers and formulas into cells, inserts charts and rewrites paragraphs, instead of replying with text for you to copy and paste.

What if the AI gets something wrong?

After every round, “Undo this change” appears at the top of the editor. One click takes back everything the AI changed in that round, with no confirmation dialog.

Can it write Excel formulas for me?

Yes. Say what you want to calculate (for example “sum column B” or “average score per person”) and it writes the formula into the cell. The spreadsheet calculates the result, and it updates when the data changes.

Can it make a PowerPoint for me?

It can add slides to the open presentation, write titles and bullet points, and check the layout with a screenshot. To generate a whole multi-slide deck from a topic in one go, tutuagent is the better fit.

Which language can I use?

Whichever you are comfortable with. The TutuDocs interface is available in 16 languages.

Can it see my other files?

It reads only the file you have open, to do what you asked. When it needs another file from your drive, a picker opens so you choose it yourself.

What happens when the allowance runs out?

You are asked to sign in or sign up with a Tutu account to continue. Everything you have made so far stays where it is.
