FAQ
What format does the data need?
First row as headers, first column as categories (months, for example) and each further column a series of numbers. Copying a range in Excel and pasting it here gives exactly that.
What if a row is missing a number?
Missing cells are drawn as 0, and the page tells you which row it was so you can fix it.
Which column does the pie chart use?
A pie chart uses the first series only (the first numeric column). To compare several series, use a column or line chart.
Is the downloaded image sharp?
The PNG is exported at twice the pixel density, so it stays crisp in slides and documents.
Is my data uploaded?
No. Parsing and drawing both happen in your browser.
Can I keep working in a spreadsheet?
Yes. “Keep editing in the spreadsheet” carries the data over; recreate the chart there with Insert ▸ Chart and it will then follow the data.
