Common questions
- Do I need to sign up?
- No. You can edit and export without an account. Signing in is only needed if you want to save to the cloud and continue on another device.
- Is there a watermark on the export?
- No. No format gets a watermark, and there is no download limit.
- Which formats can I export to?
- XLSX · CSV · TSV · HTML · PDF. In the editor, choose File ▸ Download.
- Can I edit it on my phone?
- Yes. The interface adapts to phones and tablets with the same features as on desktop — it is not a cut-down version.
- Where is my work stored?
- While you are signed out it stays in your own browser and is never uploaded — clearing browser data loses it. To keep it or continue on another device, sign in and choose “Save to cloud”.
- Will you start charging later?
- The templates and all three editors are free and unlimited today. We avoid absolute promises nobody can back, and there is no hidden sign-up wall or usage cap either.
- Can it count days present automatically?
- Yes, with one formula you add — the template ships without totals. Insert a column after Friday, enter =COUNTIF(B4:F4,"✓") and copy it down; swap the symbol in quotes for whatever mark you use.
- How do I track a whole month?
- Either duplicate the sheet four or five times, one per week, and retitle each; or keep inserting columns after Friday and relabel the headers with dates so one sheet covers the month.
- Can I limit entries to a fixed set of statuses?
- Yes. Select the record area and use Insert ▸ Dropdown with “Present, Sick, Late, Absent”. Every cell then picks from that list, so a count never misses a differently spelled entry.
